Laptop won't charge

Hello, I have an Acer Aspire laptop. I was using it yesterday, plugged into the mains. It then stopped charging, and moved onto battery. I checked the plug, changed the fuse, rebooted, left it unplugged and switched off overnight. Still no mains charge.

Anyone got any ideas what the problem might be?

Many thanks, Penny. x

has the cable come loose from the power pack ,quite often happens to me.
  • No, the cable's fine! That was one of the first things I checked. The light is on in the power pack thingy, too, but it's not getting warm, as it usually does.
