Letters - proof of posting or receipt ?

Hi - Im about to send some letters off to a couple of DCA's so just wanna confirm wether i need proof of posting from the post office ( free) or proof of delivery - ie recorded (70p ish)

If i ended up in court would a proof of posting be sufficent to prove ive sent it and they should of recieved it ?

You need to prove receipt, so recorded yes. The other trick with DCAs is to put a cheque for £1 in there. If they cash it, then they definite received it.

DCAs are so underhand so don't expect a reply or even any admittal to your letter's receipt.

Should it go to court (takes ages) then your recorded delivery slip will prove delivery yes, and their incompetence.

aha - good idea with the cheque :)

    Cheers for that
