Anybody spotted any decent bargain pillows?

Not sure if this will interest you, but with Makro, if you buy a double or kingsize mattress starting at £15.99 plus vat, you get 4 hollowfibre pillows for free. Useful if you require the mattress aswell. If not, pillows are £7.99 plus vat for 4.

Thanks but I bought a new mattress quite recently.~*~ If you don't need it, it isn't a bargain ~*~0

We got some Feels like Down pillows from TK Maxx a while back - they aren't as cheap as the M&S ones (which I am now tempted by) and tbh I tend not to wash pillows for the same reason that they tend to ball up - esp in a domestic machine. TK Maxx is generally good though for good quality duvets and pillows.
Also, have you thought about getting some pillow protectors? I got some in Primark and a mattress protector last year. Can't quite remember how much they were but you know what Primark are like for prices so they weren't expensive.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I started this quest for a similar reason to that cited by Lugh_Chronain altho' in my case it was caused by a geriatric cat, nearly at his quarter century, hale and hearty but he recently managed to poke himself in the eye with a claw and the eye then ran for several days afterwards.
Since his habit is to sleep on my pillow the inevitable happened and when I went to change the pillow case I noticed the pillow itself needed attention too.
Anyway I have now ordered two of the M&S pillows to be delivered; it would have cost me more than the delivery charge, in bus fares, to go and collect them.
Despatch notice just received.
Thank you for all your help!!~*~ If you don't need it, it isn't a bargain ~*~0 -

I managed to get a mattress protector from Aldi though these do tend to sell out quite quick and you have to be quick to get hold of one.
Aldi are actually selling bedding at the moment too and this is including pillows.

Are the Primark protectors much good? Do they do the job and are they still effective after washing them?0 -

You mean to say I have something in common with your cat?
Only joking, I actually like cats. Honest.0 -
