How to tell which threads I've read?

Is there any way of knowing which threads I have read previously? This would be particularly useful on the competitions board, so I know which ones I have entered and which I haven't. I use firefox, and there is an option to change the colour of visited links (ie. threads), but using that messes up how the site looks. Anyone able to help?

The threads titles you haven't read should be in bold. But this only works when you are on the site. If you go off the site then come back, I find they are all bold again.
Until a better solution is explained (I'm sure there will be one
), I would suggest just posting a short message in the ones you have used (just something like 'another one on my list' for example) then a small blue tick will be at the end of the thread title, and the envelope to the far left of the thread will have an arrow pointing down as well which both show you have posted on the thread.
