Bankruptcy question

Hi
I made myself bankrupt on 3 Dec 2010. After seeing the Judge I received a call from the Official Receiver and gave them my contact number.
My wife received a call from them when I was at work and they gave her an alternate time and date. No one called. I contacted them in Swansea and they had no idea about my call. I thought my case would be held at Exeter as this is the area where I live. I contacted Exeter and they told me they had reclaimed my case from Swansea. I then received a letter with the tax forms etc from Swansea so I filled them in sent them off. In the letter was a new date and time and no one called. Do you think it should be me who is chasing them or should I leave it for them to contact me. I should say on the insolvency web site I have been listed twice once for the 3rd and another from the 6th Dec.
Thanks
David

hi there
i would follow this up with the OR and make sure they have the right number for you, at the same time let them know the IS site is incorrect...0 -

Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0 -

They are so busy so I would make sure you call them quote your br number and the court in which you were made BR, I would make sure you tell them that you have noticed the second entry just incase somebody is Swansea has the same name as you (only say this as my OH was mixed up with somebody else who had the same name as him)
You need to cover your back as if they think you have failed to meet your appointment then they could hold it against youIf you woke up this morning congratulations, you have another chance :j0 -
Yes I think you are all correct I will phone them tomorrow
Thanks

Some regions have an overflow office, and I suspect that Swansea might be the overflow area for the region including Exeter (they both have the same regional director)0

Well I called them and there was a mix up Swansea did not have my records, Exeter did and faxed them to Swansea. I then had my interview. Not as bad as I thought it would be in fact I think I was worrying about it to much. One point I would say for others is that the outgoings I put on my SOA were not as accurate as they should have been and the OR said I could e mail him with an updated version. Now I shall wait to see what happens next.0
