My bargain DW tablets plus home made recipe.

First of all I picked up some reduced DW tablets in my local Waitrose. They were the 3 in 1, salt, powder and rinse for £1.39 for 32 which is bloomin cheap. I bought four boxes - You may find them on sale in yours. Not often I get a bargain in Waitrose, so I was deeelighted.
The other thing is I saw this recipe for homemade DW powder and is as follows.
3 cups washing soda
3 cups borax
half a cup of clothes washing powder.
Will not have a need to try this for sometime, but thought it may be of use to somebody

What is borax? I have never seen it, but a guy said to use it instead of soda crystals in your washing machine.Amazon Sellers Club Member Number 52

I buy liquitabs for clothes washing from waitrose too. A really good clean wash for the price.
Waitrose milk is cheap too & lots of bargains/reduction (cooked chicken for £1). I just have to be careful to stick to the bargains.....another happy bug.........sorry,blogger embracing the simple life0
