Thankyou all, all done now just waiting for the outcome. can't remember much of it and I don't think they were impressed with my face/apperance but I think they liked my answers. They will phone me tomorrow after more interviews today.
It would be a drop of 84p per hour until 6months in but I won't be on the same wage until I take an NVQ which could take a year+. But they pay petrol/mileage so in effect I will not be any worse off because I won't have to pay for myself to get to work iyswim.
We shall see...
Now I just want to go to bed but alas I have to go to work

I DID IT! I did it, woo hoo, I only got the job and signed my new contract today :j Just have to wait for references/checks/CRB to come back and I will be on the road. Super happy :j
So as usual money has to play a part somewhere. So working out figures etc this is what I need to do...
£40.18 - change of insurance on car
£60.00 - oil/coolant change on car
So logically I will be paid by current employer on the 15th Feb (full pay), 15th March (full pay) and 15th April (approx £30). The new employers pay weekly so my loan (only thing I am worried about) will be covered until April 15th. So I think when I get payed in March I will try to squirrel away Aprils payment just in case. But appart from that up there and an order I have placed for £55 I will be spending as little as possible this month.
Then as the new employers pay weekly I will only take petrol from my wages in weeks 3, 4 and 1 and then I should have approx £400 for bills come the 15th, week 2. £228 is my basic direct debits I then have mobile/rent/petrol on top of that but that can be sorted as and when.
But how exciting! 2012 is my year... Finally :j0 -
Congratulations PAP, I hoped it was job news when I saw your FB post

Yes Gem, trying to be tackful but I think at least two has guessed. Ah well I want to celebrate so on Facebook it is. Everyone will know when the notice goes in!
Dangers yes, thats my ref to going before I am pushed. Going before the company folds
Its a carer for old/vunerable people, what have I been saying for years on my old diarys
Finally done it, finally doing something for me. I will be driving around to homes/care homes and doing anything that needs doing, ie washing people, medicating them, feeding them etc etc. Next year I will get my certificate in sign language (need to save for it) and I would have fullfilled all my dreams from my 20's :j Well appart from Paris but have 4 years yet
Really really happy, no more dreading going to work :T0 -

That is brilliant PAP well done you. It is great to know that someone as kind and caring as you will be working with those most at risk. Here is hoping that 2012 Is truly your year.0

Gem, there is opertuntitys do do NVQ lvl2 but they pay. However if they drag their feet I will pay myself once I have saved because that will not be until later this year/next. I have to stay where I am for 1year or I will have to pay for my CRB and other random training but I am happy with that.
Aww thanks tootallulah
Decided I must do something for me this year and my employment was the biggest thing I wanted to change. I am ever so happy now, 2012 is looking good
