I sympathise with you on this one. I was earning a fantastic wage earlier in the year, got made redundant... No way possible to earn what I was earning before. Only on this wage was childcare possible in terms of cost / benefit. I now earn less than I did when I was on benefits / employment insurance payout. I do 30 hours a week. Juggling pick up / drop off. There aren't enough reasonably priced options out there for parents. It makes me angry becuase there is a hudge element of the work force with skills being ignored. I am carrying on juggling and possibly start up a home business If I can work a plan out. I'd say the NHS have been fantastic is terms of flexibility of working. So you could look at them so see if any of their bank work (if you are ok with care work) would fit in with the hours you need.0

quote(However I do disagree with your comment that the government should provide affordable good quality childcare. Affordable child care would only be available if subsidised by the tax payer. Parent already receive CB and tax credits out of the public purse. Providing cheap childcare as well is just that one step too far.
The % of the populace who do not have children should not be asked to contribute through their taxes to provide cheap childcare for those who do. If you want Children then their care is your responsibility not the governments.)
personally i would rather the government provided working people with cheaper childcare from our taxes than practically throwing no-cost childcare to the people that wont work and dont even need it0 -

Hi Liz
If your good at making things why not set up a shop on Folksy or Etsy to sell your items. I have a shop on both, I sell more on Etsy than Folksy mostly to American buyers. I really enjoy it and what I make pays for my hobbies:D I am registered with the tax man so all above board but that only took me a few minutes to do online. Good Luck with whatever you decide.Feb GC £80 per week (Well I'm gunna try:whistle:)
