what the variable rate with hsbc at the moment? will i automaticall go on it once the fixed finishes and then i can pay what i have to get it to the 80%ltv0

i would just rather have the security, plus when i took the mortgage with a 10% deposit i had to fix at 6.79% so if i could get thefive yr fixed at 5% repayments would be around 600pcm on 112k and i could make a 20%over payment and still be better of than now as currently i pay 740pcm, plus also reducing the orginal term of 30yrs down to around say 22yrs.0

yeah once your last fix payment goes on you can pay onto the mortgage instantly, I bank with hsbc so can click on transfer and my mortgage is reduced instantly0

thats great news, so i can pay 4k straight off then reducing my mortgage and then tying into a 80%ltv, obviously after i see what they say its worth, but like i said i have a letter stating it was valued june/july at 136k0
