The main problem with Ebay is that the whole concept is based solely on TRUST. You pay the money up front before even sight of the goods and there is no garantee the goods are in the condition described or that you will recieve anything back at all. Ebay is great camouflage for the unscroupulous and con-men. Telling them from the normal guys is almost impossible as you can buy 'feedback' as simple as buying a chocolate bar. Ebay doesn't want to get involved in a dispute and all the seller has to say is that they sent it and the buyer has no come back.

Very different to the rights you have in a shop.

Thats why for high value items, I would never consider Ebay.
