  • You have a couple of choices and I always try the easiest, cheapest method first. If you can take apart the arrangements, fill a bag with table salt and rub the petals and leaves. It works to literally grind off dirt and stains, but then you will have to reassemble the arrangement.

Your other option is to purchase a 5 dollar bottle of silk/artificial flowers cleaner at the craft store or discounter. Place the arrangement on the center of sheets of newspaper and thoroughly spray the arrangement until the solution is dripping from it. Most of the surface dirt will flow off onto the paper, but where you see stains you have to agitate the solution into it with a soft toothbrush until it loosens the dirt and then wipe with a damp cloth repeating the process until you no longer see the stain.
  • If you are afraid to use water and a mild soap, because you think that you will destroy them, then you can go to a specialized shop (or even visit an e-shop at e-bay or amazon) and have a look for a specific product. Just be sure not to spend more than what the entire pot with with the artificial flowers costs. Usually, dry cleaning is working in "fresh dirty".
  • Put them to the dryer for 3-5 minutes.
