Panasonic Camcorder for under £300

I'm searching for a good camcorder and was told Panasonic do some nice ones.
I'm maining looking for a big zoom and big memory, and also it has to be as small as possible.
Any help is badly needed or if there is another make out there someone highly recommmend. No time for ordering online, so shall visit high streets. Any good deals on at the moment?

tbh i know nothing about camcorders but someone posted recently argos are doing a clearance sale and there is one camcorder there

I'm like you know very little to look for in a camcorder, so i'm not sure what is a good one for under £300.

Very interested in the PANASONIC HDC-SD60 camcorder.
Anyone would recommend this, any info would be very much appreciated!

I need one by May 2011... but being the MSE i am, am looking out now for a good deal.

What do you all think - will prices drop after xmas / new years ?
