Pulled up on to the drive yesterday afternoon and my little boy shouts out "Oh wow look who is on the doorstep". There stood his best friend who he has known since baby days. This kid emigrated to Singapore late last year and he and his family are now back.
It was lovely to watch them give each other a massive hug. They both reckon they are each others best xmas present ever. Have had a fab day watching them out in the snow building snowmen and sledging

they are amazing yeah! I have three and they are small atm so the things they come out with are so cute! I have three boys 7, nearly 5 and very very nearly 2 (Christmas Eve actually!) and they love their friends but they are so genuine with people! Kids just state the obvious and tell the truth! Emabarrasing sometimes but hey, if adults were like that then the world would be a much better place IMOH.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!

I wish I hadn't spent so much on his xmas pressies now. Seeing as he reckons he has got his best gift already :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Did give me a warm glow inside when they said it though. You are right it would be a much nicer world if adults were like that too. I work as a teacher and the amount of kindness and thoughtfulness I see between the kids is lovely. Gives you hope.0 -
