To anyone who has ventured out today, any 'snow offers' or great sales?

are stores slashing prices as stated by the Daily Mail?

    I ventured into town yesterday as the snow isn't too bad in these parts YET! It was very quiet considering it's the last weekend before Xmas but I didn't see any slashing of prices anywhere I'm sad to say!

    We are snowed in here in Oxford. DH managed to go to shops for food and only a few people out. I asked him if there was food reduced and he didn't bother looking! I reckon there will be loads of stuff left over from Christmas so I predict there will be mega reductions coming soon. Well I hope so anyway.

    If it's snow your after we've got loads...it's free, but "buyer" has to collect, own shovel essential.
