I wanna return something from feelunique.com

I purchased something from feelunique.com and have found what I ordered cheaper elsewhere. Silly of me for not checking before hand as I was thinking I wouldn't find it cheaper elsewhere as feelunique were offering quite a generous discount.

Unfortunately their customer services are open Monday to Friday and was hoping to contact them to see if I can cancel the order.

I've checked their returns policy but doesn't answer this query. And there doesn't appear to be anywhere where you can cancel the order.

I'm wondering also if they expect me to pay to return the item as I most likey won't be able to cancel in time. I thought if I can't cancel the order then perhaps I could at least try to return it.

If they do expect me to pay to return the item then it's hardly worth me returning it as it'll out way the cost of reordering the item elsewhere even if it is cheaper than feelunique.

No big deal otherwise and not a massive loss to be honest though thought I'd ask. Still, I am a little annoyed with myself for not double checking first. :(

  • any online order doesnt matter where from (as long as it is not specific stuff like hygiene items e.g earrings or also videogames ) is subject to dsr Distance selling regulations. you have right to return items within 7 days of receiving the item for any reason whatsoever. Who pays for postage is something else though you will need to speak to them ion that one i think.
  • I should be able to get what I ordered half price from the other place I saw it. Though as there's only a couple of quid difference between them and feelunique, I'm wondering if it's worth canceling then reordering it from the other store. Would the amount for sending it back outweigh the difference?

    I have to act quick as this is a Christmas gift.

    I'll go ahead and email feelunique in the meantime.

    I have just noticed too that the item has just been despatched.

    Just got a reply from feelunique. Didn't expect them to reply so quickly either.

    As your package has already been dispatched, I'm afraid we cannot now cancel it however, if you refuse you're package, it'll be sent straight back to us free of charge and one received, we'll gladly refund you.

    So I'll just tell the guy delivering it that I'm refusing it and that I don't want it.

    Can now go ahead and reorder from other store in that case.

    Edit: No way, it's out of stock! Oh well, at least I tried.

    I'm kind of relieved now too, at least now I know I've actually bought the cheapest of what's available.

    And at least I know now what to do if this occurs again.

    Definitely can't knock feelunique either, customer service is very prompt, highly recommend for that alone.
