Any idea where abouts in West Yorkshire you would like to stay?? Leeds? Bradford? Huddersfield? or somewhere a bit quieter?

First choice would be around Bradford, Huddersfield or Leeds. Ideally not in clubbing territory, but not miles up into the hills either.

One of my daughters suggested the Leeds Malmaison, which charges £140 a night w/out breakfast or parking!

Its also smack bang in the middle of Leeds, gay clubbing quarter, busy all week round!

This place is handy for the places that you mentioned. Its also located a couple of miles or so from Saltaire (UNESCO World Heritage Site) - and home to Salts Mill https://www.saltsmill.org.uk and opposite the village of Esholt where they used to film Emmerdale.

Also near enough to visit Bronte Country, Ilkley & Harrogate

My daughter studied at Bradford university (she did a dissertation on Saltaire in German), so I know and love the area.
