    I applied for a similar thingy about two years ago when an offer was on the daily mail, and they send me a completely different dvd to the ones on offer. It was the Rugrats movie which wasnt even on the original list.

    Finally read the small print that said 'we reserve the right to provide an alternate movie if the ones listed above are not available' or something like that.

    To balance this, I recently applied for four free DVDs from Play as part of the Odeon cinema ticket offer. All received no problems.

    Page to apply seems to have gone missing from the Play.com website. Independent says you can register up till midnight but only 9.30 p.m. and no sign. https://www.play.com/independent just takes you to the Play homepage. Must have been inundated with bogus claims.
