Hello all, we are facing redundancy at work and I want to get some training in before being laid off.
As such have just been through Prince 2 and now I would like to do a basic finance course, something that would help me understand financial management, some basic book keeping and budgeting, does anyone have any recommendations?
Be great to hear your suggestions
Many thanks for your help.

You need to check out the local colleges. Do you have a Union Learner Rep in your place of work at the moment who could help you look for them? Learn direct websites are usually good ones also. Even local church halls, schools also run the courses. You might have to pay for some but (probably not the best suggestion) once you are redundant you will probably get them free, they usually have the costs for employed and unemployed. Are you company helping you with training etc as they are making you redundant. Think you get Trade Unions (TUC) to come in (there usually Union Learner reps) that speak to staff who are at risk and they will help out with training, CV's etc. Hope this helps.0
