salt marsh lamb whats the diff ?

HI..... my local butcher is now advertising he's got salt marsh lamb for sale.... has anyone had this ? and is there a big diff in taste ? i know i can ask my butcher... as he is really easy to talk to about cuts of meat etc...
so just wanted to ask before i get any.... and to see if it is worth the diff in money....

Highly prized in France and a lot more expensive. It is sheep grazed on salt marshes. Never tried it myself but it is supposed to have a superior flavour. Her's some more info

My butcher had it too.We found it much sweeter than ordinary.I thought it expensive till I looked at the same joint in the supermarket[boned and rolled shoulder].If we have lamb now I am buying salt marsh.0

thanks guys......i love lamb anyway.....no offence to new zealand.... but cant beat the local welsh lamb......
will buy some next week....so would i be right in saying.. that if just cook it plain.... nothing fancy... as the flavour is there anyway.......Work to live= not live to work0 -
Salt marsh lamb.........yumyum....wish I could get my hands on some, it is wonderful, cook just as you would any other lamb...........but don't add salt.......... it has a sweet very slightly salt flavour.................Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0
