Im wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for any websites or anything that could be for freelance designers (graphic and/or web), my OH is looking at doing a bit of freelance stuff in his free time - he is fully qualified etc. Ive had a search on google but havent really come up with much of any use.

Has your OH also considered having a small website of his own and approaching businesses via email and/or phone?
Earlier this year I started a small freelance business doing mainly data inputting for website designers that don't always have the time to do it themselves.
I have two regular clients, one who lives a few miles away and one who lives in Dublin. I've also done some other work as one-offs for others and this was all from 'cold emailing' them and a little word of mouth through their own contacts.
Also, in addition to advertising data entry work, I have done a deal with my more local client advertising website design and hosting which gives me a small commission and I also advertise other things I can do/have done such as email support or live chat support on behalf of either the website designer or other small businesses.0 -

Thanks - Yeah he currently has his own website + blog site which are certainly well viewed thanks to his work out there in the big wide world - Creative review, D&AD + other exhibitions etc, he already does a bit of freelance here and there but unfortunately he's still in the early stages of getting his name out there - I know he's got to be careful due to his contract for his full time job, so probably local work may not be an option? Im not sure....probably worth checking on that oneMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

He might also want to consider affiliate marketing if he already has a website. It wouldn't immediate bring in cash but it will in the long run if he will just devote some time to it on his free time.Mr. Mulla0

I am currently registered to peopleperhour and freelancer.
I am currently doing an article writing job through freelancer, but have noticed a lot of web design jobs being listed.0
