Great Deal on XBOX 360 from 30.10.06 for 1 week

Argos are doing a great deal for one week starting 30.10.06 on XBOX 360 full system. For £279.97 you get the consule, any game and a pack containing extra controller, steering wheel, face plate and remote control.

So that's the Xbox 360 Premium, the Mega Pack and any 360 game for the price of the Xbox 360 Premium on it's own (at argos anyway!). Not bad. I take it that this is the "mega deal" for this week.(30th oct-5th nov)

enter everything into your basket and on the next screen you should get an option "reserve for collection" and then you will be given a reservation number which is normally valid for 48 hours so you need to colect it from your chosen store within 48 hours of reserving it

Having a problem here, have added the 3 items to my basket, but total still shows £349.96. Tried with 2 different games with same result. Any ideas??

It appears it's still adding the price of the megapack.

You could reserve all the items and if not charged the correct price at the store, get them to ring head office to confirm the deal. Bit of a hassle, but worth it.

I think this has been misread, If I'm looking at the same deal (Not sure as this lasts til January) it says:

Buy any Xbox 360 console (core - 567/9216, full - 567/9223), mega pack (568/0731) and get one of the games shown below free. To receive offer add 3 items to trolley. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other Xbox 360 offer. Offer ends 19th January 2007.

It only says the game is free there. As in buy either type of console+ Mega pack and then get a free game.

OH has just gone down to buy it, so will let you know in a while whether successful or not;) ....had around £40 in Nectar points too so that brings it down to £240 all inclusive....fantastic!

I had only posted last week asking for the best price on a 360 for my hubby as he has been lovely these past 2 years looking after me as Im disabled. Have just received a little money and wanted to treat him to say thanks.
