Is now a good time to re-mortgage to a tracker?

Hope you can help. We are out of our 3 year fixed rate and on SVR for about 8 months now. Is now a good time to enter into a tracker mortgage?

    It depends on many things - what the SVR is, how much the tracker is, fees, your own attitude to risk, your LTV, your salary multiples. Each individual is different, with different circumstances.

    what rate is the SVR.

    Most lenders SVR tend to act a bit trackerish anyway.
  • As long as you could take a 1 or 2% increase, yup, why not.
    too foreign for diplomatic or PC answers, too poor for a sig
