I've just ordered a dvd from cd-wow do my piggy points get added on automatically or do i have to contact them myself.

And how long does it take for points to be added.

As long as you shopped through the pigsback Shop and Earn page the transaction should track automatically. My points from CD Wow have always come through almost immediately within 24 hours.
