Jay86 wrote:It won't let me order other things and use the expensive delivery- how did u manage to do this? There are a few books I've wanted for ages so I'm just trying to get it to work- if not i'll go for the supersaver delivery.
I just changed the delivery options & it took the £8.99 off. I changed it back as I wouldn't be there to receive it that quickly.0 -

Dinsi, I have sent you a PM. Good luck with the piggypoints everyone x
Not wanting to sound harsh, but don't you think you're being a little melodramatic? You're making out that this is an irreconcilable issue, but it really isn't- a few people took offense to a few poorly chosen words which made you come across as being aggressive, and spoke up about it. That's it. On most forums on the net, this wouldn't even be vigourous enough to be classed as an argument, let alone a reason for anyone to leave... If this hasn't already blown over (I would say it has) within a week I guarantee it will be completely forgotten. Short of forgetting this ever happened, perhaps take the lesson that online you need to be very careful with what you say, as it's easy to take someone the wrong way when there isn't any tone of voice to lead you, and be VERY SPARING IN YOUR USE OF CAPS as this is equivalent to shouting, which (imho) should always be saved for those special occasions when you come across someone really annoying.
So- let's all move on, appreciate the wonderful resource for free money that this forum is, and leave the needless arguments and misunderstandings for Real Life (TM).A non-smoker since 05/01/070 -
I'm currently listening to Johnathon Strange & Mr. Norrell, one of the free audiobooks I got through the audible offer, which according to them would usually cost around £70... I've read it before, and the audiobook is just as joyous an experience as the book itself was- anyone who can't find anything from audible that they're particularly interested in, I wholeheartedly recommend it, the story is great, the production itself is excellent, I've yet to find anyone who hasn't enjoyed it, and for sheer value, there's very few items on the audible site which beat it :money:A non-smoker since 05/01/070
