WOOHOO!!!! :j :j :j  My Mum won the Ticketmaster daily quiz today!! Her first ever!! It says she's from Sunderland too, though we're actually from Seaham, 7 miles away, but hey, who cares?? :j :j

I think it goes off postcode so if it's a Sunderland postcode (regardless of area in sunderland) it will say Sunderland.

When i won, it said Manchester, but i live in an area of Manchester.. not actually Manchester city centre. :)

If there are to be 2 Pigsback threads they should be this one, as it is, and another one for those who don't like this one.

Of those complaining, who is going to set it up ?

I have various names for the "other" thread in mind but do not wish to be PPR'd just yet.

Sorry not important just being curious but's whats PPR'd ?

Nope, been suggested and tried (for about an hour or something equally as short as people didn't like it) - the answers/links are on post 2, you don't need to venture any further into the post than that if you don't want to join in with the chat.

It definately has been suggested before, a few times in fact.

But it has never been tried.

Tesco misprice has a discussion thread and misprices only thread. That seems to work.

Right to clear this thing up once and for all. A seperate pigsback thread for discussion has been tried on 2 seperate ocassions. It did not work out that successfully.

People would post on the wrong thread people would moan that it is the wrong thread and it made a hell of a lot of extra work for board guides and abuse having to sort out posts and arguments etc...

After many discussions before and now, the pigsback thread will be left as it is. It works very very well indeed (most of the time!!) as it is.

Hope this has cleared this arguement up again.

    Thanks :)

I can assure you that it was attempted but the majority wanted to keep it as it was so the other thread was deleted after a short time.

Like everyone is saying though, if you don't want to chat then the info is on the second post for you.

It's not really putting anybody out to read the second post only is it.. that way it doesn't matter what is spoken about in the actual post or how long it goes on for, as they only have to go to 2nd post to get the information they're so desperate to get with as little effort as possible. :)

If they really don't like it then they could always just go on pigsback and do it all themselves.. they don't have to bite the proverbial hand that feeds them as it's the people they are complaining about, who post up the answers and links that they are so desperate to get from this post, that also like to chat and have a bit of banter on the post also.

They can't have it all their own way.

    Betcha!! ;)

How many times have we gone through this discussion? It is just bound to reoccur - no other possibility because people are joining the thread all the time and some will have the same feelings.

    But thanks, Diva!

You're right, of course, Claire. Over the last 18 months, everything has been done to accommodate as many preferences as possible.

Cuppatea then Jules and Divadee have summarised things at the start of the thread. Posts containing links for rewards and comps have a bold red title (unless kindly supplied by a newbie who may not be aware of the practice). All current rewards are listed in Post #2. The separate thread was useless, confusing and unpopular.

If people are not happy with the current arrangements, they won't be happy with anything. That's not to say further improvements are impossible, but perhaps a number of contributors don't realise that the numerous PB threads have evolved over the months into what they are now, and that there are good reasons for that.

I had exactly the same message telling me I needed more checks and email saying the report was now ready but when I looked it wasn't.

It also said that the further checks are only needed by 10% of their members, funny how 2 of us on one forum need "further checks" I am on the electoral roll so I don't think it's because of that.

Has anyone else been able to successfully sign up and get their credit report yet?

Yes - I got my credit report though I haven't been credited with the piggy points yet
