Happy moments gift jar....

Hi all

I am in the midst of making a gift jar for my friend with 100 happy moments in it- small pieces of paper with dates, events, memories, people or quotes to make her smile.
I have many personal things but am looking for some lovely inspirational quotes- can anyone please suggest any good websites as the ones I have found on google are very 'american' and also lovely but have very random quotes which don't translate well to Brits (ie brands/word which are very american?!)

oooo this is easy, i did one for my friend for her 50th!! i put lots of our memories ( from a long time ago some of them, i typed them on a piece of paper and they went in the jar, so when she pulled them out we had a giggle...

I did a jar of ''hugs'' for my friends birthday...........think maybe she'd like something like this for her next birthday:)
