Help with a day out with a Pony trip gift please.

i would like some help please.

My wife likes ponys and would like to take a ride on a pony and i though that would make a great Christmas gift but i dont know where to start looking for a gift like that(if it can be done).

So does anyone know anywhere in Cheshire(i live in Macclesfield) where i could buy some pony lessons or a trip out on a pony please.

Have a look on the net or in the yellow pages for riding schools or stables nearby and see what they do. Has she ever ridden before? Some places might want her to do a beginner lesson before letting her go on a trek out.
  • I would suggest that you look for a British Horse Society approved establishment. This way you know that they will have insurance and qualified instructors and that they horses will be safe, suitable and well looked after.

Info on learning to ride is on the BHS website here

List of approved establishements here which includes places for lessons and also trekking.

I hope that you find what you are looking for and your wife has a great time.
