Rejected loan!!

does anybody know how long a rejected loan will stay on my credit report? thanks

    Credit file does not show that you have been rejected, it just show you have been searched by the particular lender.

    it has the date that the loan comapany looked on my report tho? one of those footprints i think its called!

    One loan application alone won't make much difference to your credit file. As said to anyone else who looks at your file it will just show as a credit application, no name of the bank that search and not that you were rejected.

    Its generally recommended not to have more than say 3 applications for credit in a 6months period, as you can start to look desperate for credit (meaning you are then more likely to be turned down), but aside from that it really shouldn't impact on much else.

    well ive got 8 in the last 12 months,but some are from my bank and ive never applied for anything with them so guess they were just checking up on me but afew are due off in the next 2 months, by may i should be down to about 3 or 4 checks so am i gonna have to wait til may time?
