Co-op Strongbow offer (glitch in system!!)

Bought a 2 bottles of Strongbow earlier, cashier told me there is a glitch in the system at the mo, and that 2 bottles are scanning cheaper than 1:

1 is £3.29
2 are £3.20 !

She said this is because there is an offer on at the mo for bottles and packs of 4 cans, - 2 for £5, but 'someone' has put in the incorrect amount. Not sure if it works on the cans, but defo on the 2 litre bottles ! Good luck

All I need now is a brown paper bag, and a park bench... lol !!!

I was in there today and this was not the same.. someone bought 2 bottles for £5 but they was charged £3.29 each.

When I was overcharged by £1.00 on a bottle on wine in my local Coop, the manager told me that their policy was to give back double the difference, so gave me £2.00. In the case described above, the overcharge would be £1.58, so if the same policy was applied, they should have got £3.16 back meaning that they would ended up getting 2 bottles for £3.42.
