What is the average rental in your area for your size house? The OR may in some cases only allow the average.

What I do not understand though, from your first SOA you are between you are going to be £2-300 a month light. I know you have adjusted only for you, but I think that you may have to have another look at your outgoings in total.

£1400 and there isn't much to rent, it is vary sparse in family house size, mainly small 2 and 3 bed houses. It would also be unviable to sell the house as it is already in negative equity without even taking selling costs, legal fees into the equation.

    Be aware:

You will have to give details of your income and spending in:
    • <LI class=MsoNormal>your Statement of Affairs, if you have applied for your own bankruptcy, or
    • the preliminary information questionnaire (PIQB), if someone else has made you bankrupt.
The Statement of Affairs and the PIQB ask for details of your income and normal monthly expenses, such as rent, food, heating and lighting, and clothing. You will be asked to provide proof of your income and spending, such as payslips, utility bills, rent books etc.

It may not be viable as you put it to sell the house, but the OR may not allow your mortgage payment of £1300 and allocate less, you will then have to find the extra from other allowances.
You have to remember that each OR is different and have their own rules. They have maximums to work with but may not apply these in all situations. Posters on here can only advise with our own experiences of what we were allowed or know what others have been allowed. Hopefully yours will give you the maximum but be prepared that they might need proof as Trollfever mentions to back your claims up.
