Well there seems to be a distant lack of £2 around here. Some need to be liberated! £20 is my total for May. On the bright side I did get two in my change yesterday.

I was going to reimburse my pot this week, whilst i have some money in my bank account, and with some more funds due this week, but the opportunity i've been waiting for, has arisen this week, and its the first time i've actually got some money in my bank account, so there it stays. I'm going to spend it on what i've been waiting for. Seagulls, chillout time, feelgood factor, lots of coastal walking, black peas, fish and chips, ice cream, mooching, whatever. Before anyone says how can i afford this? i can't. But its what my soul needs, and i've got to take the opportunity whilst its there. I'll regret it at the end of the month when the rent is due. But at least its not the bahamas, its just a simple few days, me time, get away from it all, time.

I'll update later this week when i know how much is left, and the pot will be restarted for spends. I should be able to purchase a bus ticket fpr £1 each way. Wish me luck. One time when i'll set the alarm for 5.30 am, just in case i oversleep.

  • Hi ani,

Everyone needs some 'me' time now and again, that's what keeps us sane.

Enjoy your chill out time and watch out for the seagulls as they like chips! :)

  • Hi hope everyone is well. After a severe drought, where I'd nearly given up hope of ever seeing a £2 coin again. I somehow managed to get 3 in one day! :j There is hope after all.
