Interesting idea. I don't save £2 coins myself as I find them far too useful (especially for fares). I don't get many in my change anyway, maybe because you lot are hoarding them all!
I've been a bit of a coin collector over the years and I was wondering if anyone's had a Darwin or Nightingale yet? The Charles Darwin £2 coin was first issued in 2009 but I haven't seen one! Likewise with this year's Florence Nightingale centenary issue. I sometimes wonder if people keep them because they think they're more valuable than the standard design. They're not, but I suppose if enough people squirrel them away they acquire a rarity value!0 -
