    Evening All,

Banked £30 today in £2.00 coins for January and started collecting again. I had to bank them as I was running low on cash and started to thinks about using them to pay for parking at the station. Thankfully was able to resist and found a free place to park a short distance away! Feeling very pleased with myself at the moment!

I love £2 coins and this is the strategy I use

I try to limit the amount of cash I take out each day. Last year, I started to go out daily with exactly £5 or £10 a time and if I got a £2 in change, then I was not likely to be tempted to spend it. And if I needed to visit the cash point I started to take out the minimum £10 from my current account

When returning home, I'd put any £2 coins aside and top up my purse to another £5 and I managed to have several NSD days. (there is no point in saving £2 coins if you end up taking more money out of your income each month.) I budget for a set amount of expenditure each month and have been even more successful in January - however, I have only mangaged to get 4 £2 coins so far this year.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hi
Can you count me in on this thread. I usually try and save any £2 coins that I get but usually end up using them for something!! I am going to seal a jar so I cant spend them! Started this year and only have £6 but thats better than nothing. Dont tend to get many £2 coins :( but I will put them away as and when I do get them.
