2 more for me yesterday in my change, the sales assistant in the shop was very sorry but did not have any £5.00 notes, and handed over my change containing my £2.00 coins. I left the shop smiling. Funny how a £2.00 coin can make my day.:):):)

They are in a pot and I swap £5 notes for two coins so £190 become more than £230 - it's a plan!!!:D

    Hello All

This really worked for me in 2010 - i saved £2 all year just whenever i was given them as change - result was £104 to spend on Christmas 2010. I didnt notice the difference as £2 come along so rarely, but it amazed me how much was there when we opened the piggy bank.

Count me in for 2011 - i got given 3 in change this week - the girl at the checkout apologised because they didnt have any Fivers - :T

    Best of luck to everybody
