When the tax credits renewal came thru I spoke with one of there advisors and gave them all the new details and they they altered the amount paid to me .
But when I go online to the Inland Revenue tax credits do I qualify page and enter the same details about my claim it give me a totaly differant amount that we are eligible for. I made sure that I gave them very detailed information about the claim. If they have made a mistake were do I stand.

Is there a tax board? I think there is?
Your payment value will be based on whether you have under or overpaid in the past, so it may take into account this. I would assume that the recalc figure based on your renewal is correct, unless there is information in it that is incorrect (obviously).
Is it way different? And which one is more and which is less?Indecision is the key to flexibility

You can appeal any decision made - if you contact them they can send you a form to fill in...You should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs

when you go to the HMRC do I qualify page ..it works out your claim from the date you are doing it online to the following April. The claim you will have already been notified of will run for the full tax year - last April to next April.I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

This years amounts will run until april but the strange thing is that the same details that I put in give a differant total .0
