CSA Chasing My Son Now!

Hi All,

The csa have started phoning and writing to my ex-wife asking for a copy of my Son's birthday cert and his mobile number.

My son is 19 years old now and I would HATE for them to start chasing him over my debt to them, total amount £9500.

Anyone have any idea's please?

Thanks in Advance.

Why would they chase your son for a debt you owe, for contributions to his bringing up? They are likely wanting to confirm his current situation with him?

    Hi AnxiousMum,

His mum kicked him out when he was 10 years old. He has lived with me all these years. and i did support him when he lived with her.
All I know is that they want his contact number, not sure why?

The CSA wouldn't be contacting your son about your arrears - the QC (your son) is never involved in the parents CSA case.

Is there a chance that your son has fathered a child and they're contacting him about that?

    Hi 3onitsway,

Hmm. LoL, he has no kids... yet. Lives with me and has his head screwed on.
Does make you wonder why they want his details.
