Hello, am new to this, so please bare?/bear? with me.
Am looking for advice only at this time ! I went BR over 2 yrs ago Aug 08 & have been DS'd. Am managing my financial affairs ok, but want to try and regain credit rating history. Understandably, Ccard Co's that I have applied for - Capital classic ?( who contacted me to apply??) have refused.
My intention is to use a Ccd on petrol useage only, say £100/150 p/m and settle in full. Is this a good idea ? I have bank A/cs which I manage online & keeps control of cashflow.
Would appreciate advice. Best regards. Apologies if not proper format or speak !!0 -
Hi Ewan
firstly welcome. It might be better if you start your own thread - on the main BR board you will see a "new Thread" button, otherwise you post may get lost here, and I would hate you to miss out on advice.
Good Luck

Welcome to the Bankruptcy Board.
Hello and Welcome, Many of the posters on here have been through bankruptcy. They will be able to help, advise and also offer you support. We do have poster's who have/do work for the OR and Debt charities too.
To post your question go to the top left hand side of BR board, opposite the page numbers and press the "New Thread" button as shown below:
If your post doesn’t get answered straight away please don’t lose heart, it’s often due to not being a 100% sure we would be giving the correct answer. If you find your post is not answered and it’s on page 2, please ‘bump’ your post back up the board.
We often ask you to post your SOA so we can see if you have included what you need to.

Select the MSE format at the end. Copy and paste onto your thread.
If you are new/old to this board and receive/see a comment that is not helpful or insensitive please don’t let it put you off posting, often these comments are made by people who don’t normally contribute to this board and don’t speak for us.

Many of the people who post on here already have a huge wealth of knowledge on the subject and are only too willing to help guide you along based on their own experiences.
If you feel you can do with their help please do start your own discussion/post your question on the board, then post your link to it in here so regulars reading this who may not have spotted it know you're asking for help.
As happens on many forums and social networking sites, you may sometimes see a post that doesn't seem in keeping with the friendly forum we try to make this. Sometimes it's just someone having an off day, sometimes it's what's called trolling.
If you do see a post you feel the Forum Team should be aware of, just report it by clicking the abuse button, then ignore it. Don't reply back as that gives the Forum Team more work and delays any action while they work out what's going on.
Now I'll let the good people of the bankruptcy board take over.
Good luck and take care
Andrea
