where to buy waterproof undersheets (not the plasticy sort)

Does anyone know where you can get waterproof undersheets that don't make it feel like there is a crinkly tarpaulin under the sheets?

Thanks in advance...

I got a nice one from Dunelm Mill for my sons bed, it's waterproof, but not crinkly, the top of it has a very nice soft and padded material. Can't remember exactly how much it was, but wouldn't have been much more than £5 at the most. :o

i got a pack of two single bed sized ones from matalan for 12 pounds - they have a slight crinkly sound, but soft terry top to them. they are fab, and have been in and out of the washing machine almost every day for the last 3 months [night toilet training going really well, as you can tell  ]

If you want it for a child use a Kylie sheet, there great go on top or under the sheet i used it on top so i only had to wash this if my son had a accident.
They are also used in homes for the elderly which is where i found out about them and last forever i have been using one for 10 years on my 3 children and was washed every day for 3 years for my daughter and she stopped wetting the bed when we brought her a cat
Just search for kylie sheet they say 200 washes but mine still works
    Number 4 due 21st jan
  • Hi, Kyle, or other such protectors are very good at their job, however, you should not use fabric conditioner with them as this stops them from doing the job properly, I think in the same way as if you use too much fab cond on towels, they don't absorb water too.

I know of places that have used the same ones for 10+ years repeatedly and they still work of sorts. The branded kyle's are expensive, but of course there are unbranded alternatives and different patterns too. In the group home I work in, they are even colour coded to each person usng them! a little extreme maybe, but quite a good idea.

Definitely the Kylie sheets are the best ones, as used in nursing homes and some hospitals.

I used them for my incontinent FIL for years, they wash and wash. As someone else said, don't use fabric conditioner or they won't work.

I bought mine from a local hospital with an Incontinence Clinic - why not ask your local hospital where the nearest Incontinence Clinic is?

Just found this company for if you haven't got a local clinic:

They're not cheap, but work out to be good value overall.
