Is anyone else experiencing amazon wishlist problems?
All of my family use amazon wishlist so we don't duplicate gifts, been doing it for years, well this year there is a bug in the system because they are not being removed from the list, my mum has had to send back 2 gifts already...I guess we will find out for sure on christmas day!
I am really upset that amazon allowed this to happen and I will be writing them a very stern email in the new year

I have a similar experience which led to a bit of xmas upset trying to figure out what went wrong (my mum didn't sleep afterwards). Luckily only minor pressis got duplicated. They show on amazon with quantity received 2 in most cases (but not all) so I have emailed to ask about this - I have 1 reply and for some items they say only 1 was bought but for some they actually told me 2 were bought (I am asking how this can happen but have to hear back).
Please let me know how you get on and I will do the same.0 -
We had a similar problem this Christmas, with all the presents bought by one of our relatives being duplicated by others.
Amazon were very prompt at replying to my query, confirming that the relative in question had used 1-click ordering (ie they'd gone to my wish list, clicked the link to the product in the wish list, then on the product page clicked 'one click order'). If they'd used 'Add to Basket' on the wish list page, or on the product page, then it does register ok.
One to be aware of - and always ask people to check that the items have disappeared once they've finished their order.0
