She's a lot nicer than she sounds - and I know I am.

Aww ZTD, I've only just seen this thread!! :o

I'm really sorry to hear about your break-up but I'm glad to read that things are looking up now. I did that difficult 'mutual lodgers' thing for quite a while and it was really hard so I sympathise with how nice it will feel to have your own place! And to have found someone else already is great, if it works out or not you've hopefully found a friend :D

You've been really helpful to me lately and I'm sorry I didn't find this thread earlier and be able to offer some support in return :o

Don't worry about it. We all can't read all the threads. And I did make it quite low key I guess.

Hopefully, but it's early days yet, and I don't want to count my chickens before they're hatched.

It's OK. It was just to let people know that I might be dropping off the planet - though that turned out not to happen.

And at least I don't have some of your problems - £4.90 bridge toll ....

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
