No put it in as soon as you can get in.The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!

so i must press them??i thought they were avoiding it to cover something maybe?
It is apparent there are no accident reporting procedures in place and that may suggest that the company may be lacking in other aspects of health & safety.
I would certainly press the matter and as SarEl has pointed out, obtaining written/documented evidence will certainly assist you should you feel the need to claim compensation for your injury and/or losses at a later date.
I posted in another thread yesterday about how a former colleague who was driving a fork truck ran over a pothole causing whole body vibration which initially caused slight discomfort in his neck.
Unfortunately, the condition worsened over a period of time and resulted in major surgery some years later.
I am not suggesting your injuries are as severe, but it can happen where the most innocuous injuries can develop into something debilitating.
I certainly would insist that you ask for and fill in the accident book, retain your copy and ask if the incident has been reported.0 -
I would suggest add to what others have said that you document everything. Dates, times, medical visits, effects on your life both temporary or permanent. Sounds very dramatic and OTT, but if you need to make an accident claim you will need all details in as much detail as possible, and things get forgotten.
And of course, all correspondence in writing, and keep copies!0 -
not one thankyou! All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0
