I cant see it anywhere,NME says its in the no. 1 spot from their midweek figures but i assume that is just from downloads.

Does anyone know please.

To be fair to the bloke, he's released some OK music before he sold his soul to The Scowell (TM). He was in a band called Seven Summers and previous to that a band called Darwen. I think the album/s are available to download on itunes. Nice to hear him post 'cover album for the grannies' era.

saw it in tescos £3 has the xfactor single and 3 other tracks including his beautiful verson of the first time I saw your face and nights in white satin, now searching download sites to get best deal not keen on the x factor song though he sings it brilliantly other 2 I mention wowowowowowowow fantastic

Need to see what his 1st album is before we can determine ownership of his soul - just hope it's Matt.

Seven Summers looks good, Matt appears to still be the "same" person and has changed very little (if at all) in comparison to many of the others that have been "Xed".

Seems to be very grounded and not "up" himself.

At least he has a sense of humour :rotfl: (if you've not seen it)

He's been singing mostly girl's songs! IMO this could go 2 ways, none of them brilliant for him.

1. He goes all Brookstein and tries to impose his will on the choice of songs on the album. We all know what happened to brookstein

2. He surrenders total control to Syco and ends up with an album of dreary covers in time for Xmas 2011. (Mcelderry hasn't even sold 100,000 albums by doing this).

Best thing that could have happened to Matt is to finish second and go back to his band with increased public awareness. It's clear from Scowell's face on Sunday night that he will devote the most time/money to Cher, OD and Rebecca's albums.

Less than one penny is pretty cheap imo.
