Vanilla Pods - What's that all about?

One pod per glass jar. No refill packs available.

Surely that can't be the most economical method of packing them..........?

You are buying somethnig that costs £100+ a kilo. They will be packed like that to keep them undamaged.

If they're so worried about them getting damaged, why do they fold them in half before putting them in there?

Surely they could manage to get a few more in without mishap?

I get mine from ebay, I got about 15, they were all vacuum packed together. I made vanilla sugar to give as Christmas presents to friends and neighbours this year.

Well, if Christmas isn't worth a pod, what is it worth.........?

Give it a go, I think I paid about a fiver for them, they are Madacascan and they smell wonderful.
