Something to open in place of tickets help

Hi all. I am at a loss at what to do about this one. I have purchased a couple of X-Factor Live tickets for our 12 year old for xmas. The concert isnt until March but I wanted to be able to wrap something up for her in a glitzy ticket envelope type thing that have bought. I thought maybe I would be able to print off some kind of makeshift "fake" tickets but to no avail. I was hoping I wouldnt be alone with this problem but google isn't throwing much up and I have zero artistic skill of my own lol. It doesnt look like the tickets are going to turn up before xmas so I thought I'd throw myself at the mercy of the MSE'rs for some guidance or help.
Any ideas folks?
Thanks

Type all the details on to a piece of A4 paper, stick in an envelope, put in a box...wrap....put in a bigger box....wrap that - make it all fancy and you're done
You don't need to make the sheet artistic, as long as you have the headline 'You're going to the X Factor show in March!' you have got her attentionCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Make up your own "tickets" either by hand or in Word, etc. You can make them as fancy and/or personalised as you want / are able to.
If you're doing it in Word try going to www.itv.com/xfactor, right-click on the X Factor logo and select 'Copy' then right click in Word and select 'Paste'.
Then it's just a case of how to wrap them.
Inside of an empty toilet/kitchen roll tube is an obvious one. You can then wrap it up as if it was a Christmas cracker.
Or you could even put them inside a real cracker.
I like the box-in-a-box idea, above.
How "mature" a 12 year old are we talking? Do they like balloons? You could blow up a load and fill a bin bag with them. Put the tickets in the middle. Wrap up the bin bag. But might be seen as a bit babyish.
You could use scrunched up newspaper if you didn't want to use balloons.
Or something I've always wanted to try is putting something like this _inside_ a blown up balloon and wrapping that up.0 -
How about a bit of paper with clues or puzzles on? I'm sure they'll be really excited when they work out what it is.0

Think the box in a box idea is great - maybe could give clues in each box. Like there could be pictures of the contestants, gold xxxs or stars, maybe a copy of the new single in the next to last box and then a printed out sheet in the last one with the ticket details.0

Build up hope with the clues...
... Then dash it when all they get at the end of it is a CD single...
... Then the surprise is still intact when they get the tickets.
If you went down this route, you could put the tickets inside the CD case itself. Otherwise they'd know there was something else to come if there was another box.0 -

What about wrapping a calendar or diary with the x-factor logo on the date and clues to go and look for it.2014 20p savers club #2 I've given up trying to keep track of how much that pig eats!

I would go down the clues route..
As a child I had a Karaoke machine as my big present, before that though I opened a handmade album of song lyrics that my big sister had spent weeks writing out and making.. Then I opened a karaoke video (Lol video.. See, years ago!) that you sing along to.. Then the karaoke machine last!2010 Competition Wins - Swarovski Crystal Earrings, Handmade Greeting Card, £500 Jewellery Voucher.
