    To be honest, Wonga's representative APR appears to be amongst the worst.

    That's because they are one of the best PDL companies. theres more to it than the headline figure.

    With Wonga you are likely to borrow money and find the payment go out on the due date and that is the end of the whole saga.

    Some of the others can bring all manner of hassle, the Direct Debit bounces, gets cancelled "by someone" or for any other reason fails.
    Henceforth a mountain of Late payment fees, charges, calls, texts, etc. all ramping up the amount borrowed.

    Having said that, I agree it is a pitiful position to walk into, don't go anywhere near ANY PDL Company unless you have exhausted ALL other options, including selling all that clatter in the front room, bedroom, shed, garage etc (do you really need that gas Bar-B-Que and patio heater???
