Help

I need a loan and I am told the only way to get one in my current situation is via a credit union. Don't you have to be a member first?

Call your local credit union and talk to them and they can advise you how long you need to save with them first or if they can offer you any help earlier.

most ask you to save for a certain amount of weeks, then the first "loan" you take with them can only be a percentage of what you have saved already, then after a while you can borrow more i think.
