Finding good Independent financial advice locally

My IFA is moving abroad early next year and I would like to take the opportunity of dealing with a new IFA who can take a look at our assurance protections and retirement planning 'with a fresh pair of eyes'.
Can anyone offer any advice on finding a good IFA locally?If it helps we're bsed in Hertfordshire.
