  • Well I inadvertently paid off £350 from mine & hubby's overdraft ....the Bank we are with cut our overdraft limit by £350 the day he was paid and as we were right at the limit practically,

    i guess I can look at it that it is £350 off our debt (still really angry that we had no notice of this though :mad:)

    BUT trying to be positive our debt is now 350/13,225 :beer:
    MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. May 1st, £116, 123, June 1st, £115,536, New mortgage added for extension- £165,000 July 1st!
    Mortgage Overpayments - September-December, £152.46. J- £103.27, F- £115, M- £91.50, A- £100, M- £200, J- £200. J- £200. Aug-£200.
    Total- £1362.23
    Goal pay off 1% of current mortgage in 1 year. £1650

    EF- first goal £300

    That is really annoying, I can understand your frustration. It would really mess up a lot of people. But as you say, it's £350 less you owe now.

  • Just paid off £123.16 off my Amex, so that's £816.77/£6842.49, nearly down to £6000 to go :j Still have a few hundred left but don't want to be left with nothing and have to keep using the card.
    Debt free and busy treating myself:)

    No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

    Managed to make some overpayments in January which took my total paid to £764.29.

    Total payments so far this month,

    Credit Card - £124.97
    Friend & Family - £50.00
    Loan - £113.68

    This brings my total up to,

    £1,053/£6,530
    LBM January 2011 - Total Debt £13,060! Currently Stands at £11,984 - 8.24% Paid. Debt Free Target Date - June 2013
    Credit Cards - £6,582/£6,581. Friends & Family - £400/£1,250. Loan - £5,002/£5,229.
    No.113 in the "Pay off as much as you can in 2011 Challenge!" - £1,075/£6,530 - £5,454

    Well the bill I have to pay I have managed to borrow the funds at 0% so I have popped this in my sig but will continue aiming at target 1 which still has dratted interest added. Got a quidco payment in so have transferred this straight off my card: £696.01

    I have made a payment today of £45.86.

    I have decided to just log my overpayments as the interest is making the payments so much more.
