Thanks for all the totals everyone, all updated now.
Could everyone please check that their totals on post 2 are up to date and correct before the grand totalisation tomorrowIf anything is wrong, then please let me know. I think it's ok, but I may have missed the odd one, or got myself a little confused.
I'm so impressed with how well everyone's done, and if you haven't paid off as much as you'd hoped, just remember that every single £1 extra is less debt and less interest owed to the banks! :j"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Well done everypne. Last day of Jan today - so totals should be totted up soon! Don't think we'll hit the £83k we need to set us on the road to £1 million paid off, but it will still be a good start. Heads down for Feb!
Well, as totals are paid off, the interest reduces and therefore the capital payments increase.
I think we should be good in the long run to hit the million mark.:)

Thanks Guys, totals updated again! I think we're looking good, and we still have people joining, so I think collectively we have a good chance to hit that million mark or more!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". dont forget january quite a tight month for most and we are just getting into the swing of it. i predict february will be even better.
ive set myself a personal challenge of paying of a little more each month than the previous month. even if it is only a £1.
i can make another payment this month but was waiting as my month end (next payday) is 17th feb. but if you need me to make a payment to get to a certain total this month let me know !!!!!!0 -
108. kdenty - £12.57/£7,750
Erm mine should read minus £284/£7750:(:(
Budget not very good and low pay landed at same time as big bills so the overspend had to go on the credit cards. February might not be much better either as I can only pay off minimum on each card.
I WILL get there I KNOW I can - it might just take a bit longer than I hoped.0
