Well I'd love to joint his too but I don't think I'm in your league. I got very large debts but I'm struggling to pay the minimums at the moment. However, I am aiming over the next 12 months to pay off £1000 of my debts...is that too little to join here? Sorry. :(

Hi inamin, welcome to the thread. There is no minimum amount here, so you are very welcome to challenge yourself to pay off £1,000. If it's a challenge to you, then it is suitable for this thread! Every penny more we pay off our debts is a success in my mind, so you'd be just as welcome if you were aiming to pay off £200!

Good luck with it, and keep posting for support and ideas, if you haven't done already, why not post your SOA on the DFW board, and they can give you some help with areas you might be able to cut back on. :)

    Hi
Made a payment today of £61 to a credit card but after taking interest into account, I've actually only paid £14.55 off the debt, so what figure should I use

It's entirely up to you. I see you're counting the whole payment so that's fine :)

Well done to everyone who's managed to pay some off too.

    Good luck everyone! :)

I've just updated my total with the new figures from my reorganisation of my finances. It looks like I've paid a lot off so far, but that is all money which was already there to be taken off. Now the real work starts!

Hi everyone, I would really like to be credit card debt free by the end of the year but just can't see how its going to be possible :( I have £5k to pay off, no doubt I will be adding to that tomorrow when my car goes for MOT and will probably fail, but I would like to give it a go anyway :D
Aiming to completely pay off the credit card in 2012!
